Jaipur, February 2026 : Director General of Police Shri Rajeev Sharma on Monday inspected the Bhilwara Police Lines and interacted with police personnel during a contact meeting. During the interaction, he listened directly to the concerns of the jawans and issued key directions aimed at strengthening high-tech policing while also prioritising the welfare of police personnel and their families.

During the inspection, the DGP reviewed the shooting range and various branches of the police lines. He issued clear instructions to improve cleanliness across the परिसर, remove temporary bathrooms from the MBC barracks and replace them with better facilities, and ensure the immediate provision of Wi-Fi and inverter facilities in the library.

Interaction with Police Personnel
At the contact meeting held in the police lines, officers and staff raised several issues, including promotions, enhancement of mess diet allowances, construction of government housing, provision of mobile phones and mobile allowances, shortage of administrative buildings, the need for fast-moving vehicles, and anomalies related to recruitment and seniority.

Other key demands included promotions in the MBC and police band units, reservation or quota for the children of police personnel in schools, construction of buildings in newly created police districts, availability of stronger resources to combat narcotics trafficking, and improvements in the RajCop app.

The DGP assured the personnel that their concerns would be examined seriously, reiterating that improving policing efficiency must go hand in hand with ensuring the welfare and well-being of police personnel.
