For the first time in India, transgenders tied Rakhi to the CM Sai
A large number of sisters and girls tied Rakhi to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai on Raksha Bandhan festival today at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, transgenders also reached the Chief Minister’s residence and tied Rakhi to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and prayed for his happy and prosperous life. This is the first time in India that transgenders reached the Chief Minister’s residence and tied Rakhi to the Chief Minister and celebrated this Raksha Bandhan festival in a special way.
On this occasion, the beneficiary sisters of Swachhata Didi, Divyang children and Mahtari Vandan Yojana tied Rakhi to the Chief Minister and wished him a happy life. The Chief Minister presented gifts to all the sisters and girls and expressed his commitment to their safety, respect and prosperity.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai wished all the girls and sisters a Happy Raksha Bandhan. He said that today I did not even realize that I do not have any real sister, I am overwhelmed by the love and good wishes of sisters and children from all over the state. Our government is committed to their safety, respect, prosperity and for their welfare, the Chhattisgarh government has taken initiative in this direction through many welfare schemes. Through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, we have fulfilled this responsibility towards sisters and mothers. I am satisfied that under this scheme, 70 lakh mothers and sisters of the state are getting Rs 1000 each every month. Through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, we have made the sisters financially capable. Through this scheme, the amount of Rs 1000 received by women sisters every month has increased the social and family prestige of women and sisters. Their small household needs have started getting fulfilled with this amount. The love and blessings of all you sisters are the source of my strength and inspiration. On this festival of Raksha Bandhan, I wish you happiness, prosperity and security in your life. There was an atmosphere of happiness in the Chief Minister’s residence on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival. The enthusiasm of the sisters who came in large numbers to tie Rakhi was worth seeing. Everyone was seen wishing and wishing each other on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival.
Kumari Chanchal Soni, who climbed to the base camp of Everest, said that today it was a pleasant experience to see the affection and love of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai towards sisters at the Chief Minister’s residence. He has given more respect to all the sisters than a real brother. Poorvi Dewar, Bhoomi Dewar, Neha Dewar, Pihu Bundela and Sarika Dhimar, students of Government Abhyas Prathmik Shala Mahasamund, looked very happy after tying Rakhi to the Chief Minister. They were delighted to receive the affection and gift from the Chief Minister.
Mrs. Zaibun Nisha, a housewife resident of Telibandha and a beneficiary of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, said that Vishnu Dev’s government has done a lot of good work for women. She said that as she grows old, she faces health problems every day and the amount of one thousand rupees received from Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Ayushman Card helps a lot.
Mrs. Laxmi Sahu, a resident of Gudhiyari, told that she is educated up to 12th standard. She told that she has bought a sewing machine from the money received from Mahtari Vandan and has expanded her sewing business. She also gets help in paying the school fees of her children. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is fulfilling his promise of being a brother by sending a sum of one thousand rupees every month to the bank accounts of us sisters.
Transgenders posted in the police department, Tanushree Sahu, Shankar Yadav, Yogesh Janghel and other constables of the transgender community tied rakhi to the Chief Minister and wished him a happy life. Along with Vidya Rajput, Avni Khorpade, Shivangi, Sakshi, Deshwa Mandal, Zoya, Poppy Debnath of the third gender community tied rakhi to the Chief Minister on this occasion and blessed him. Swachhata Didi and Safai Didi, beneficiary sisters of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, handicapped students from Mahasamund, children of Government Abhyas Primary School, Exact Foundation Institute, Prayas Residential School Gudhiyari, girls from Udaan Nayi Disha Institute also reached the Chief Minister’s residence to tie Rakhi to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai.
