Brahma Bhojan for Assembly Members a Beautiful and Inspiring Tradition: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai
Raipur, February 2026 : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday said that the annual Brahma Bhojan organised for members of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly is a beautiful and inspiring tradition that reflects values of affection, harmony, and service.
The Chief Minister was speaking at the Sneha Milan and Brahma Bhojan programme organised by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya at Shanti Sarovar in Naya Raipur. The event was held in honour of the esteemed members of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.
Appreciating the affection, warmth, and spirit of service shown by the Brahma Kumari sisters, Chief Minister Sai said that everyone present felt deeply touched by their love and respect. He noted that organising Brahma Bhojan every year with such warmth for Assembly members has become a meaningful and motivating tradition.
The Chief Minister said that the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris institution has been continuously working to promote moral values, spiritual awareness, and inner peace in society. He added that spiritual centres such as Shanti Sarovar and Shanti Shikhar always provide a sense of positive energy and spiritual calm. The institution’s presence in more than 137 countries, he said, is both pleasing and inspirational.
Highlighting the social contributions of the organisation, Sai said that the Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya is creating awareness across different sections of society through numerous public welfare activities. He particularly praised the institution’s role in economically and socially empowering women. He also noted that its efforts in tribal regions have brought significant social and economic benefits to local communities.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was hosted by the Brahma Kumari sisters and partook in the sacred Brahma Bhojan. Leader of the Opposition Charandas Mahant, Cabinet Ministers, and all Members of the Legislative Assembly were also present and participated in the Brahma Bhojan.
During the programme, the Brahma Kumari sisters extended an invitation to the Chief Minister and all Assembly members to visit Mount Abu, the organisation’s spiritual headquarters. Chief Minister Sai gladly accepted the invitation and expressed his willingness to visit. On the occasion, Leader of the Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant also shared his views.
Several dignitaries attended the programme, including Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, MLA Dharamlal Kaushik, along with many public representatives and eminent citizens. From the Brahma Kumaris family, Mrityunjay Bhai, Atma Prakash Bhai, Hemlata Didi, Lata Didi, Asha Didi, Sarita Didi, Savita Didi, and several other members were also present and participated in the programme.
