Chief Minister attends Rangpanchami festival, extends greetings to the people of the state

Raipur, March 2026 : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the Rangpanchami festival organized at Sonkar Badi in Ashwini Nagar in the capital city Raipur. On the occasion, he extended greetings to the people of the state and said that Holi is not merely a festival of colours but also a celebration that conveys the message of love, harmony, and brotherhood, binding society together in unity and mutual respect.

The Chief Minister said that this year the festival of Holi has brought special happiness for the farmers of the state. Under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, the state government has transferred a substantial amount of ₹10,324 crore into the accounts of farmers as the difference amount for paddy procurement even before Holi.

He said that this financial support has created an atmosphere of happiness in the homes of the state’s farmers and has doubled the enthusiasm for celebrating the festival. According to him, the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to the welfare and prosperity of farmers, who are the backbone of the state’s economy.

Chief Minister Sai further said that Holi is a festival that encourages people to forget differences and spread the message of friendship and affection. The festival strengthens the spirit of goodwill, harmony, and unity in society.

He also mentioned that MLA Rajesh Moonat organizes a Holi Milan programme every year on the occasion of Rangpanchami. Such events play an important role in promoting mutual interaction and strengthening social harmony among people.

At the end of the programme, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Rangpanchami and prayed for happiness, prosperity, and well-being in everyone’s lives.

On this occasion, MLA Motilal Sahu, Mayor Meenal Choubey, along with several public representatives and distinguished citizens, were present in large numbers.
