One-Day International Conference on Literature, Cultural Studies, Education, and Social Sciences Held in Saitual
Saitual : A one-day International Conference on Literature, Cultural Studies, Education, and Social Sciences was held today at 3:00 PM at the Government Saitual College Auditorium. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Lallawmawma, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Saitual.
During his speech, the Chief Guest expressed his pleasure at the successful organization of the International Conference, emphasizing its importance. He encouraged the college students, particularly those in their final year, to study diligently and take their future seriously. Mr. Lallawmawma also urged students to explore diverse career paths, as the government cannot provide jobs for everyone. He mentioned that Saitual district is progressing, and opportunities for growth in various sectors are increasing. He encouraged students to prepare themselves for these opportunities.
Dr. Sarad Chandra Kashyap, Assistant Professor at Mid-Western University, Nepal, highlighted the importance of education in his speech. He stated that education is crucial for personal development and for guiding people’s thoughts and actions. Dr. Kashyap also stressed the importance of gender studies, noting the need to continuously address gender inequalities and promote equality between men and women.
The International Conference was chaired by Mr. J. Lalfakzuala, Chairman of the Organizing Committee. After the keynote speeches by Mr. Lallawmawma and Dr. Sarad Chandra Kashyap, Ms. Liansangpuii Khiangte, Convener of the Organizing Committee, presided over the presentation of certificates to the participants. The closing remarks were given by Ms. Lalnunthari, Co-Convener of the Organizing Committee. The ICLCSESS conference was well-organized, with presentations conducted both online and offline, and it saw enthusiastic participation.
