UPPCL and UPNEDA to highlight state’s advances in solar and clean energy through pavilion at UPTIS 2024
Lucknow : The UP International Trade Show 2024 (UPITS), set to take place from September 25 to 29, will prominently feature all major sectors of the state under the leadership of the Yogi government. A special focus will be on showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s energy sector. The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) and the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) will operate a pavilion dedicated to the state’s energy landscape.
This pavilion will provide information on advancements in solar and clean energy, investment opportunities, and ongoing projects to global companies, buyers, and investors.
In addition to UPITS, the Yogi government is hosting another significant event in September. From September 11 to 13, the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida will host Electronica India, Semicon India, and Productronica India. These events will highlight Uttar Pradesh’s IT, electronics, and technology sectors, showcasing the state’s favorable policies and attracting investment from both national and international sources.
Yogi govt to boost global recognition of UP
The Yogi government is set to enhance Uttar Pradesh’s global presence through the UP International Trade Show 2024 (UPITS). This major event will attract buyers from 72 countries, aiming to increase the demand for Uttar Pradesh products on the international stage and strengthen Brand UP. The trade show will also create diverse investment opportunities across various sectors, potentially leading to new employment prospects for the youth.
At UPITS 2024, Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) will showcase the state’s achievements in the energy sector, including investment opportunities and ongoing projects. Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) will provide information on solar and clean energy programs, achievements, investment opportunities, sector-specific policies, incentive procedures and management and projects such as solar rooftops and solar cities. This initiative will highlight the state’s advancements and attract global interest in Uttar Pradesh’s energy sector.
Preparations accelerate for UP International Trade Show 2024
Notably, preparations are in full swing for the UP International Trade Show 2024, scheduled from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Center in Knowledge Park Phase-2, Greater Noida. Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) and the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) are constructing a dedicated pavilion for the event.
The pavilion will feature a visitor area and a VVIP lounge for B2B and B2G meetings. A 10×10 meter section will specifically highlight the energy sector of Uttar Pradesh, equipped with modern LED systems and an LED wall for electronic displays. The pavilion will also utilize banners and brochures to raise awareness. Additionally, there will be space for showcasing solar energy equipment and model replicas as needed. Currently, the process of selecting agencies and allocating tasks to ensure the pavilion’s completion is underway.
