President Smt. Murmu to visit Ujjain and Indore on 18-19 September: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Birthday will mark the commencement of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva-2024 Campaign’ in the state from 17th September, to 2 October. The campaign focuses on the idea of​​Swabhav-Swachhata- Sanskar Swachhata, activities will be conducted at all levels to motivate people to imbibe cleanliness in their behavior. The state government will encourage people to offer shramdaan and make innovations to keep their environment clean under the campaign.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this in an informal discussion before the cabinet meeting at Mantralaya. The cabinet meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav started with the Vande Mataram rendition.

Ministers should participate in the programmes of the districts under their charge in the Swachhta Hi Seva campaign

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Swachhata Hi Seva 2024, which will be launched on 17 September on the occasion of PM Shri Modi’s birthday, all the ministers should participate in the programmes being held in the districts of their respective charges and should make innovations as per the situation at the local level. Make the campaign effective. He said that Jan Aushadhi centers will also be inaugurated on 17th September.

President Smt. Murmu to perform Bhoomi-Pujan of Ujjain-Indore six-lane road

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that President Smt. Draupadi Murmu is visiting Ujjain and Indore on the 18th and 19th of September. The President will participate in the programme of Devi Ahilya University Indore along with performing the Bhoomi Pujan of Ujjain-Indore Six Lane Road.

Air cargo operations to commence at Rewa Airport

Before the Cabinet meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on getting the air service license of Rewa Airport and greeted him by presenting him a bouquet. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state has got a new airport after 1978. We will endeavor to start air cargo facilities from Rewa Airport. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a proposal has been sent to the Central Government regarding the procurement of soybean at support price in the interest of farmers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the powers of the chairpersons of the Corporation and Boards will be handed over to the ministers of the concerned departments.

Ministers should identify inconsistencies in the geographical boundaries of their areas and districts in their charge

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Delimitation Commission has been constituted by the State Government to remove the discrepancies in the geographical boundaries of the districts and the difficulties faced by the common people due to them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the ministers should identify the difficulties of their respective areas and districts under their charge and also seek suggestions from the people in this regard. Prioritizing the convenience of the general public, the proposal should be sent to Shri Manoj Srivastava, member of the Delimitation Commission and former Additional Chief Secretary.

Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign focuses on three pillars

A presentation was given before the cabinet meeting on the Swachhta Hi Seva 2024 campaign to be started from Prime Minister Shri Modi’s birthday on 17th September in which it was told that there are three main pillars of the campaign, the first pillar is public participation-awareness and advocacy under Participation in Cleanliness, the second pillar is shramdaan under Complete Cleanliness and rejuvenation of targeted units and the third pillar is health check-up and social security coverage related activities under Safai Mitra Suraksha camp. Under participation in cleanliness, stage programs, workshops, exhibitions, competitions, and participation activities will be carried out. Incentives will be provided under the total cleanliness and sanitation under targeted units, for cleanliness through honors and awards and through massive cleanliness campaigns, waste separation and management, sanitation facility upgradation, mobilization of volunteers, and increasing participation of voluntary organizations as well as individual and community level efforts for cleanliness. Under the campaign, safety training, distribution of safety material, health check-ups, and awareness sessions will be organized in Safai Mitra Suraksha camps.

Swachhta Hi Seva campaign will be run through departments and voluntary organizations along with individual initiative

To ensure public participation in the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign and make it a people’s campaign, messages will be broadcast through all publicity mediums including social media, radio, TV, and newspapers. Public representatives of Panchayat and urban bodies will participate in the programmes organized at the district, district, gram panchayat, and ward level. Special responsibilities have been assigned to the School Education and Higher Education Department, Public Health and Family Welfare, Women and Child Development, Public Health and Engineering, Tourism and Culture, and Forest Department. Public participation will be encouraged in the campaign through voluntary organizations, social-religious-business organizations, and gram sabhas.
