Meeting with Retired Officers of the Indian Administrative and Police Services ‘Rising Rajasthan’ to Boost Investment, Transform the Region, and Create Employment – Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma

Jaipur : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the objective of the state government is to create better opportunities to promote industrial development and investment in the region. In this context, the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit is being organized. The summit is expected to boost investments, create employment opportunities, and position Rajasthan as a leading state in the country.

Shri Sharma made these remarks during discussions with retired officers of the Indian Administrative Service and Indian Police Service at his residence on Friday, regarding the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. He emphasized that administrative officers acquire valuable experience in various fields during their service. The key suggestions derived from their experience will be instrumental in increasing investment in the region.

It is noteworthy that the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, scheduled to take place from December 9 to 11, will attract prominent industrialists, business groups, and political delegations from various countries. As part of pre-summit activities, international roadshows, conferences, and roundtable discussions are being organized. Investor meetings have already been held in South Korea, Japan, the UAE, and Qatar. Additionally, officers have been appointed to coordinate with various countries, states, central ministries, and PSUs to attract investments to the region.

On this occasion, retired officers from the Indian Administrative and Police Services shared their insights and suggestions on promoting investment and the Rising Rajasthan initiative. These officers included Shri Chandramohan Meena, Shri Ravi Mathur, Shri Purushottam Agrawal, Shri Lalit K. Panwar, Shri Shrimat Pandey, Shri Shyam Aggarwal, Shri Deepak Upreti, Shri Mukesh Sharma, Shri Sanjay Dixit, Shri Rajeshwar Singh, Shri D.B. Gupta, Mrs. Veenu Gupta, and Shri Ajit Singh.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Shikhar Agarwal, Principal Government Secretary for Industries Shri Ajitabh Sharma, and Principal Government Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Alok Gupta.
