Maharishi Valmiki established an ideal by writing the story of Lord Shri Ram’s glory: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Maharishi Valmiki wrote down the story of Lord Shri Ram’s glory. There was no printing facility in that era but an ideal was established by writing various aspects of Lord Shri Ram on palm leaves. The Chief Minister said that necessary steps will be taken for the betterment of the Valmiki Samaj, on the suggestions submitted by the Samaj today. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the closing ceremony of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti Fortnight at the cave temple complex located in Lal Ghati today. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the Valmiki Samaj for the event. He said that I had the privilege of being present at the inauguration and closing ceremony of Maharishi Valmiki fortnight.
Rajya Sabha member and Rashtra Sant Balayogi Shri Umesh Nath Maharaj said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav had also reached Valmiki Dham Ujjain during Valmiki Jayanti fortnight. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave priority to the program organized in honour of Maharishi Valmiki. He does not consider anyone a Girijan or a Harijan instead he considers them a respectable citizen. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has done the work of naming the airport in Ayodhya after Maharishi Valmiki. Along with this, a person from the Valmiki community has been seated in the Upper House. This has been possible with the support of Prime Minister Shri Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
In the programme, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Rajya Sabha member and Rashtra Sant Balyogi Shri Umesh Nath Ji Maharaj, Peethadhishwar Shrikshetra Valmiki Dham, Ujjain were honored by Sakal Valmiki Samaj. Skill Development and Employment Minister Shri Gautam Tetwal and Chairman of Municipal Corporation Bhopal Shri Kishan Suryavanshi were also present in the programme.
In the programme, a copy of Ramayana by Valmiki was handed over to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Sakal Valmiki Panchayat and other guests present in the programme were welcomed by the Samaj.
