Suggestions of subject experts in Budget Samvad will be included in the budget: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devda
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Devda stated that the suggestions from subject experts and stakeholders across various fields will be incorporated into the Madhya Pradesh Budget 2025-26. He made this remark while addressing the Budget Samvad programme at the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management. Shri Devda emphasized that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision is to make India the number one developed nation in the world by 2047. He added that over the next 25 years, India should be established as a global leader, and this Budget Samvad is an important part of that journey. He further highlighted that India will not only become a developed nation but will also emerge as an economically strong power.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Deora acknowledged that the subject experts at the Budget Samvad programme had offered valuable suggestions, pointing out areas that require further attention and improvement. He assured that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Madhya Pradesh budget for 2025-26 will be more effective and beneficial for the people. Shri Deora invited the experts to submit their suggestions in writing as well. He also highlighted the significance of the event, noting that it coincided with the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the upcoming Republic Day, and the ongoing Kumbh in Prayagraj, emphasizing that this dialogue would contribute to positive, long-term results for all.
In the Budget Samvad, several valuable suggestions were made by experts and stakeholders. Deputy General Manager of NABARD, Shri Sushil Kumar, recommended bringing Mandis closer to rural populations for the convenience of farmers. Shri R.C. Behera, Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank, called for budget provisions to promote organic farming. Sarpanch Sushri Bhakti Sharma emphasized the need for better women’s health services, legal aid, improved infrastructure, and support for start-ups. Young farmer Pratik Patidar from Bhopal suggested further promoting agriculture. Farmer Shri Jitendra Singh from Raisen shed light on the market system for bamboo. Film producer Shri Naren Kumar proposed enhancing local systems in Madhya Pradesh to support Bollywood’s operations. Shri Alankar Vashisht of Grahak Panchayat recommended strengthening food testing facilities.
Finance Secretary Shri Lokesh Jatav stated that the budget is being finalized and will feature new dimensions. He recognized the contributions of both youth and experience in the Budget Samvad programme and assured that the suggestions made would be included in the budget. Principal Secretary Finance Shri Manish Rastogi, Additional Secretary Shri Rohit Singh, Finance Department officials, subject experts, and stakeholders were also present at the event.
Director Budget Tanvi Sundriyal delivered the inaugural presentation of the Budget Samvad programme, which focused on the contributions from subject experts and stakeholders to make the Madhya Pradesh Budget 2025-26 more beneficial for the public. The programme saw participation from a diverse range of institutions and organizations, including the Central Finance Commission New Delhi, UNICEF India New Delhi, State Bank of India Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank Indore, NABARD, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Madhya Pradesh Govindpura Industrial Association Bhopal, CII, Film Industry, Consumer Panchayat, Farmers, Bamboo Products, Chartered Accountants, and other subject experts.
