National Flag Hoisted at Chhattisgarh Pavilion in Prayagraj Kumbh

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Chhattisgarh Pavilion in the Prayagraj Kumbh. On this occasion, the national flag was hoisted, and attendees exchanged greetings and best wishes for Republic Day. Tributes were offered to portraits of Bharat Mata and Mahatma Gandhi with garlands and flowers, symbolizing patriotism, unity, and respect for the Constitution.

Addressing the gathering, Additional Collector Arun Markam highlighted the significance of January 26 as a proud day for every Indian. He remarked that this historic day marked the implementation of the Constitution, transforming India into a strong democracy. He also extended Republic Day greetings to pilgrims from Chhattisgarh present at the pavilion.

It is noteworthy that the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj commenced on January 13 and will continue until February 26. The Chhattisgarh government has made a remarkable presence at the event by constructing a grand pavilion. This pavilion showcases the state government’s flagship schemes through a photo exhibition, highlighting its development initiatives.

Special arrangements have been made for pilgrims from Chhattisgarh, including accommodations and meals. Additionally, a cultural stage at the pavilion features mesmerizing performances by folk artists, celebrating the state’s rich traditions, folk art, and culture through dance and music.

Every day, thousands of pilgrims visit the Chhattisgarh Pavilion, benefiting from the facilities and appreciating the glimpse into the state’s cultural heritage. Visitors have expressed satisfaction with the excellent arrangements, making the Chhattisgarh Pavilion a focal point of attraction at the Kumbh Mela.
