Chief Minister Inspects Ongoing Construction Of Serchhip District Hospital
Serchhip – Today, Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma visited Serchhip District, where he inspected the ongoing construction of Serchhip District Hospital.
The hospital construction project is being funded through ₹21 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) under CSR initiatives. However, due to various challenges, the construction work had been delayed. To address this, the state government sanctioned an additional ₹50 crore last year through NESIDS (North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme), ensuring that the project progresses without further hindrances.
Currently, the CSR-funded ₹21 crore construction work is being carried out by the contractor. The Chief Minister personally inspected the progress of the work today.
During the visit, he discussed the various challenges faced by the project. After inspecting the site, he immediately contacted the relevant officials over the phone, instructing them to take necessary actions to expedite the construction process and resolve any issues efficiently.
