CM Yogi to hold ‘Janta Darshan’ from Thursday in Lucknow
Lucknow : Due to the code of conduct, ‘Janata Darshan’, which was on hold for the past two months, will resume this Thursday. According to the information provided by the Chief Minister’s office, CM Yogi Adityanath will personally engage with the public every day from 9 am to 2 pm, attentively listening to their problems, and promptly directing officials for redressal.
This initiative will provide the people of the state with an opportunity to bring their problems to the attention of the Chief Minister and ensure their immediate resolution as well.
It’s worth noting that until the code of conduct was imposed two months ago, CM Yogi had been meeting the public almost daily at his official residence during the Janata Darshan program. During this time, people from various parts of the state would meet him to discuss their different issues. The Chief Minister would listen to each person’s problems individually and immediately instruct the senior officials to resolve these issues.
Most of the issues brought before CM Yogi involve land disputes and requests for medical expenses. Furthermore, citizens frequently seek the Chief Minister’s assistance with family disputes and conflicts related to police stations and tehsils.
However, during meetings with state and district officials, Yogi has already given clear instructions that senior district-level officials should conduct weekly reviews of police stations and tehsils. He also emphasized that no complainant should be treated disrespectfully and their issues should be promptly and appropriately resolved at the district level.
Furthermore, district reviews should be conducted at the divisional level, and the review of the division should be done from Lucknow headquarters every month.
