Officials Should Prioritize Public Orientation, Dynamism, and Transparency
CM Commends Officials for Outstanding Work During the 100-Day Plan
Mumbai : Public orientation, dynamism, and transparency are crucial aspects of good governance. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to bring significant changes across all sectors in the coming years, and its integration should be prioritized in governance, directed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He also appreciated the efforts of officials who have excelled in implementing the 100-day action plan set by the government.
During a meeting at Sahyadri Guest House, the Chief Minister reviewed the progress of various initiatives under the 100-day action plan, which aims to ensure effective implementation of government schemes and enhance accessibility for the general public. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, and senior officials from various departments. Additionally, a record-breaking 6,854 officers participated via video conferencing, including officials at the taluka level.
Recognition of Outstanding Departments and Officials
Fifteen departments that demonstrated excellence presented their achievements during the meeting. Officers and offices that introduced innovative practices were honored by CM Fadnavis with certificates of appreciation.
The Chief Minister emphasized that all officials, from the state secretariat to the village level, must ensure that government services are easily accessible to citizens and meet their expectations. He added that good governance fosters investment, and Maharashtra is a leader in this aspect. After completing the 100-day plan, a performance review will be conducted at both the departmental and district levels. Departments delivering exceptional results will be honored on May 1, while those scoring below 40% will be critically reviewed.
