Ensure Quality Healthcare Services Reach Every Citizen – District Collector’s Directives to Medical Officials

District Health Committee Meeting Held at District Collectorate Auditorium

District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni directed medical officials to ensure quality healthcare services reach every resident of the district. Presiding over the District Health Committee meeting at the District Collectorate Auditorium on Monday, he reviewed the progress of various health programs and schemes.

Focus on TB-Free Villages and Non-Communicable Diseases

Discussing the TB-Free Gram Panchayat campaign, he instructed officials to screen tobacco users and actively involve Nikshay Mitras to accelerate the initiative.

Regarding the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) program, he emphasized serious efforts in screening for diabetes, hypertension, and cancer among the general public.

Timely Disbursement of Health Scheme Payments

  • Pending payments under Rajshree Yojana and Lado Yojana should be released immediately.
  • Increased IPD admissions under the Maa Yojana were recommended.
  • PCPNDT program review led to directives for center visits and decoy operations.
  • Under the National Child Health Mission, he emphasized the timely treatment of underprivileged children.

Comprehensive Review of Healthcare Schemes

The meeting also covered discussions on:

  • ABHA ID (Ayushman Bharat Health Account ID)
  • Chief Minister Free Medicine Scheme
  • Chief Minister Free Diagnostic Scheme
  • Integrated Disease Surveillance Program (IDSP)
  • Maa Voucher Scheme
  • Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan
  • Family Welfare Programs
  • Janani Suraksha Yojana
  • Vaccination Programs
  • IHIP Portal

Additionally, reports on ANC (Antenatal Care), PNC (Postnatal Care), and delivery records were reviewed.
