Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare Reviews Planning for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Punyatithi Program
Raigad : Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be present at Raigad Fort on April 12 to attend the 345th death anniversary (Punyatithi) of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Minister for Women and Child Development, Ms. Aditi Tatkare, conducted a review meeting today in Mahad to assess the preparations for the event.
Present at the meeting were Zilla Parishad CEO Neha Bhosale, Additional Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Shivatre, Archaeology Department Officer Rajesh Divekar, Local Festival Committee President Raghuji Raje Angre, acting committee member Sudhir Thorat, former President of Mahad Municipal Council Snehal Jagtap, members of Shri Shivaji Raigad Memorial Committee, and various departmental officials.
Minister Tatkare instructed that the administration, police, archaeology department, and local committees work in close coordination to ensure a grand and well-organized program. Considering the intense heat in April, she stressed the need to ensure adequate drinking water and stock of medicines. Sufficient toilet facilities should be provided for both male and female visitors at Raigad.
She also directed the police department to take precautions to prevent overcrowding and any untoward incidents. Cleanliness measures should be prioritized by the concerned departments. Additionally, she emphasized that each department must successfully fulfill its assigned responsibilities.
In light of the event, she issued specific instructions to all district officials to ensure the smooth conduct of the program.
