Thanks to Good Governance Week, solutions now walk directly to the doorstep.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Good Governance Week running in the state has emerged as a symbol of relief and trust for the common people. Through this campaign, government schemes and services are now being delivered to people’s homes. Problems no longer send people to administrative offices; instead, solutions are reaching their homes.
In Raigarh district, special camps are being organized under Good Governance Week for the creation and correction of Aadhar cards. District administration teams are visiting villages to resolve applications. Anuj Kumar Nishad from village Darramuda had been unable to get a student ID for his son, Gaurav Nishad, due to an error in his Aadhar card. Thanks to Good Governance Week, quick action was taken on the application, and the correction process was completed.
Farmer Shri Devendra Sidhari from village Kantahardi had applied for the second copy of his farmer book through Good Governance Week. The administration took this seriously and sent the Patwari to his residence. After document verification and matching, the farmer book was delivered to his home. Overwhelmed by this service, Shri Sidhari thanked Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and said that this initiative was proof of the government’s sensitivity and transparency.
Mrs. Divya Sahu from Dumarpali applied for a job card. Due to the active engagement of Good Governance Week, the employment assistant personally visited her home, completed all formalities, and handed her the job card. Divya Sahu remarked that it was the first time she felt that the government’s schemes had truly reached her doorstep. Similarly, Janaki Kumari Patel and Bhavna Mahant from Chhote Mudpar also received their MGNREGA cards at their homes.
The quick resolution of applications and the delivery of benefits directly to people’s homes has turned Good Governance Week into a people’s movement. Rural residents have called it a symbol of government accountability and sensitivity toward the public.
