RD&A Minister Attends Helen Lowry Higher Secondary School’s 27th Graduation Commencement Ceremony
Aizawl – Helen Lowry Higher Secondary School today held its 27th Graduation Commencement Ceremony for students of Classes 10 and 12 who successfully passed their examinations for the 2024–2025 academic session. The event was held at the Helen Lowry Auditorium, located at Seventh-day Tlang, Vaivakawn, and was graced by the Minister of Rural Development & Administration, Prof. Lalnilawma, as the chief guest.
In his speech, Minister Prof. Lalnilawma extended his congratulations and shared words of encouragement, urging students to continue striving for success with determination and a positive attitude. He emphasized the importance of being mentally prepared and developing the right mindset to achieve future goals, highlighting that consistent effort and right direction are key to personal growth. He also appreciated the role of teachers in guiding students and expressed his desire to see Helen Lowry School continue nurturing high achievers.
Also addressing the gathering was Pu Lalnilawma Colney, Education Director of the Mizo Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He encouraged the students to cultivate a strong moral foundation and make informed life choices, stressing the need to understand both right and wrong clearly.
The program was chaired by Pu Lalhmachhuana Pachuau, who expressed gratitude on behalf of the attendees. A school report was presented by the Headmaster, followed by speeches from representatives of various groups. The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to the graduating students and the recognition of outstanding teachers and top-performing students. The closing prayer and benediction were offered by Pu Lalbiakdika Ralte, Treasurer of the Mizo Conference, SDA.
