Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana turned around the fortune of Ravindra Pandey.

Who doesn’t dream of living comfortably in their own permanent home? This is a universal aspiration that drives every individual to work diligently. Mr. Ravindra Pandey also cherished the dream of owning a permanent house. Fortune favored Mr. Pandey, and through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, he now possesses his own pucca house. Chhattisgarh Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, is committed to provide proper housing facility to the homeless families in the state. This scheme has not only elevated the living standard for people but has also offered them secure and stable housing. With the fulfillment of the guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the good governance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, a large number of poor families now have roof over their head and a the sense of security that comes with a permanent residence.

This initiative of Chhattisgarh Government has realized the dream of Mr. Ravindra Pandey and his elder brother, Mr. Kashiram Pandey, residents of Kumharpara in Narayanpur district, to have their own house. Mr. Ravindra Pandey stated that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has proven to be a blessing for him. Reflecting on the hardships of the past, he recalled the difficulties of living in a makeshift house. Seasonal challenges included a leaking roof during rains and sleepless nights due to the cold. With a permanent house now, these problems have been resolved. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), he has been provided a pucca house and the house is registered in the names of him and his elder brother. He further mentioned that his family receives Rs 1,000 per month under “Mahatari Vandan Yojana” and has sold paddy at a support price of Rs 3,100 this year. Under “Ujjwala Yojana”, the state government has provided him with a gas connection. Mr. Ravindra expressed his gratitude to the esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for the effective implementation of these welfare schemes.

The main objective of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is to provide proper housing facility to the economically weaker families in the state, enabling them to lead a dignified life free of hardships. Today, even people living in remote areas are receiving the benefits of this scheme. The government under Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s good governance has transformed the lives of many families through such schemes. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana not only provides housing but also offers an opportunity for a secure and stable life.
