Rationalisation Realises the Vision of Quality Education

Teacher Appointments Strengthen Learning Environment at PM Shri School, Sambalpur

Raipur : The Chhattisgarh Government’s rationalisation policy, aimed at deploying teachers in schools based on actual need, is proving to be a meaningful step toward strengthening the state’s education system. One of the significant outcomes of this initiative is seen in the PM Shri Government Primary School in Sambalpur, located in the Dondi Lohara block of Balod district, where the issue of teacher shortage has been effectively resolved.

Previously, the school had only three teachers for over 150 students, which severely affected the teaching-learning process. However, under the rationalisation initiative, two new teachers have been posted at the school, significantly improving classroom operations and ensuring the delivery of subject-wise, quality education. The current teaching staff now includes Head Teacher Mrs. Veena Thakur, along with Mr. Anil Dilliwar, Mr. Rabin Nagwanshi, Mrs. Bansanti Tikeshwar, and Mrs. Sunita.

This development has not only benefited the students and parents but has also been welcomed by the local community and educational stakeholders, creating a positive and satisfied environment.

Local writer and educationist Mr. Birendra Niroti and School Development Committee President Mr. Gangaram Nishad appreciated the government’s efforts. They noted that for a long time, villagers and public representatives had been demanding additional teacher appointments, and the fulfilment of this demand has now rekindled enthusiasm for education among the local population, especially among children and parents.

Through the rationalisation process, schools that previously lacked teachers or operated with only one teacher now have adequate staff assigned. This initiative not only enhances the quality of education but also reflects the State Government’s commitment to providing inclusive and quality education across Chhattisgarh.
