Fertilizer and Seed Availability Brings Smiles Back to Farmers’ Faces

Following the clear directives of the Chhattisgarh Government, timely and adequate supply of agricultural inputs—fertilizers and seeds—is being ensured for farmers in Balod district. Through the district’s service cooperative societies, farmers are now receiving easy access to these essential inputs, visibly bringing satisfaction and relief to their faces.

Mr. Vimalchand Patel, a farmer from Baghmara village, has procured DAP, potash, and urea from the Medhki Service Cooperative Society and has begun preparations for the upcoming farming season. Mr. Patel, who cultivates paddy on about four acres of land, praised the government’s distribution system, stating that there is no shortage of fertilizer or seed at the societies and that farmers are easily getting what they need. As a result, agricultural activities have started on time this season.

Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Mr. Patel said that farmer-friendly schemes like PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi and the Krishak Unnati Yojana have brought positive changes to the lives of farmers. He added that the efficient distribution of fertilizers and seeds through cooperative societies feels like a blessing.

It is worth noting that under the instructions of CM Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government has taken steps to ensure that no farmer in Chhattisgarh faces any hindrance in cultivation. In Balod district too, the local administration has implemented an effective supply and distribution mechanism for fertilizers and seeds. Adequate stock of these inputs is being maintained not only at the Medhki Service Cooperative Society but also across other societies, ensuring timely availability for farmers.

Farmers like Mr. Vimalchand Patel and many others have appreciated the administrative measures taken to streamline fertilizer and seed distribution in the district. These well-planned efforts by the government and administration have instilled new confidence in the farming community, enabling them to pursue agricultural work with renewed vigor.
