Prepare Beneficiary Lists on War Footing for Effective Implementation of Schemes – Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Mumbai : To achieve the objectives of the seven ambitious schemes included in the budget, appoint a coordinating officer for each scheme at the district level. These plans will be reviewed every week. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde directed today that beneficiary lists should be prepared on a war footing.

The Chief Minister also gave special instructions for the government, various authorities, local bodies, and corporations to immediately register eligible candidates for the ‘Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training’ program and accommodate them according to their qualifications. This will enable a large number of candidates to receive tuition fees under this scheme.

A review meeting regarding various ambitious schemes was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Shinde. Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minority Development Minister Abdul Sattar, Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Manoj Sounik, Chief Secretary Sujata Sounik, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Brijesh Singh, and others attended the meeting at Varsha Government Residence. Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare participated through an audio-visual link. Additionally, all the Divisional Commissioners, Collectors, District Chief Executive Officers, and concerned zonal officers participated through the audio-visual system.

At the beginning, Chief Minister Mr. Shinde inaugurated the portal of ‘Mukhya Mantri Yuva Karya Pradhaniya Yojana’. Candidates and businesses can register on this portal at https://rojgar.mahaswayam.gov.in.

In the meeting, detailed reviews were conducted on several schemes: ‘Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ (Women and Child Development Department), ‘Chief Minister Youth Work Training Scheme’ (Skill Development Department), ‘Chief Minister Annapurna Yojana’ (Food and Civil Supplies Department), ‘Girls Free Higher Education Scheme’ (Higher and Technical Education Department), ‘Mukhyamantri Tirtha Kshetra Darshan Yojana’ (Department of Social Justice), ‘Mukhyamantri Baliraja Power Concession Scheme’ (Department of Energy), and ‘Mukhyamantri Vyoshree Yojana’ (Department of Social Justice). The Chief Minister also directed to take effective action to reach the beneficiaries of these schemes.

Chief Minister Mr. Shinde emphasized that the responsibility for the implementation of each scheme should be given to a senior officer of the concerned department as a coordinator at the district level. District Collectors and Divisional Commissioners should review the progress of these schemes and their registrations every week. Districts should set objectives, and the departments implementing the schemes should take initiative to reach the beneficiaries.

For the ‘Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana’, it was informed that 59 lakh applications have been filed online and 1.5 lakh applications offline in the state. Secretary of the Women and Child Development Department, Anup Kumar Yadav, noted that a record seven and a half lakh applications were received in a single day.

Stating that this scheme is a great relief to poor women, Chief Minister Mr. Shinde said that women should not face any hindrances while registering under the ‘Chief Minister Majhi Ladaki Bahin Yojana’. The concerned Collectors should monitor this closely. Difficulties in registration should be addressed immediately, and eligibility of the applications should be determined swiftly. Information about this scheme has reached Gram Panchayats and city wards. The response from women has been great. The Chief Minister also directed that the number of registration centers should be increased if required and that Aadhaar and bank account details of women should be filled carefully as the benefits will be deposited directly into their bank accounts.

For the ‘Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Scheme’, efforts should be made to register demand from all industries, pollution control boards, MIDC, service sector banks, cooperatives, factories, and milk organizations. Each district should set targets for trainee candidates to ensure they receive actual training and educational stipends in the future, said Chief Minister Mr. Shinde.

Minister Mr. Patil informed that the free higher education scheme for girls is being expedited. He emphasized that higher education for girls is crucial to prevent stagnation, and the scheme will not be allowed to lose funds. Instructions were given to implement this plan in coordination with the concerned departments.

The Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Darshan Yojana includes 73 pilgrimage sites in the country and 68 in the state. Among them, sites such as Mahu in Madhya Pradesh, the birthplace of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (Bharat Ratna recipient), Chavdar Thale in Mahad, Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s place in Ranchi, Jharkhand, and Diksha Bhoomi in Nagpur are included as directed by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The Chief Minister also directed to plan for the senior citizens of the state to go on pilgrimages as soon as possible through this scheme. Additionally, 19,013 applications have been approved in the state under the Vyoshree Yojana. These seniors should receive the benefit amount in their accounts soon, and the new portal should be made operational as soon as possible.

The Chief Minister also emphasized the swift implementation of the Chief Minister Baliraja Power Concession Scheme. The Chief Minister Annapurna Yojana, which is important for women, should be implemented immediately, and a government decision should be issued in this regard.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde appreciated the Solapur Collector, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer, and all the organizations involved in planning the Pandharpur Ashadhi Yatra. It was informed in the meeting that a proposal of Rs 100 crore for the Darshan Mandap at Pandharpur has been approved. This Darshan Mandap in Pandharpur will be constructed through the Regional Tourism Development Scheme with the cooperation of IIT Mumbai. This darshan mandap will provide better facilities for devotees who stand in queues for 18 to 24 hours, including toilets and drinking water, bringing great relief to them, as expressed by Chief Minister Shinde.
