Report Cases of Mahavitaran Wire Theft Immediately; Take Action Against Culprits
Jalgaon – Numerous cases of wire theft involving Mahavitaran are occurring across the district. Guardian Minister Gulabrao Patil has directed the police administration to promptly register these crimes and take significant action to prevent them. Additionally, he emphasized that the 360 Jaljeevan Yojana, which has been completed in the district, should be provided with electricity connections immediately. He also highlighted that the Chief Minister’s Agriculture Solar Channel is a far-reaching scheme designed to benefit farmers, urging Mahavitaran officials to expedite its implementation.
A review meeting was held today at the Government Rest House (Ajintha) under the chairmanship of the Guardian Minister to address distribution issues in the district. Present at the meeting were Mr. Suresh Bhole, Mr. Sanjay Savkare, Mr. Chandrakant Patil, Collector Ayush Prasad, Additional District Police Officer Ashok Nakhate, Superintending Engineer of Mahavitaran Anil Mahajan, and Chief Engineer of Mahajanco Mohan Awad.
Over the past 5 years, a record number of 1,400 transformers have been provided from the district planning fund. Despite this, there is public dissatisfaction due to delays in project completion. Therefore, Mahavitaran has been instructed to expedite their work and complete all pending projects in the district. They were also directed to submit proposals for distribution boxes and cut-out requirements for district planning, specifically for the DP needed by farmers.
With the onset of the rainy season, hanging wires in villages pose increased danger and should be rectified immediately. The Guardian Minister also ordered prompt compensation for those who died or were seriously injured due to electricity-related incidents in the district and directed the replacement of dilapidated poles.
A detailed discussion was held in response to concerns raised by Mr. Suresh Bhole, Mr. Sanjay Savkare, and Mr. Chandrakant Patil regarding Mahavitaran. The Chief Minister’s Agriculture Solar Channel Project has been approved in the district to provide 12 hours of electricity to farmers. Guardian Minister Gulabrao Patil also instructed to involve local MLAs in the Bhoomipujan or inauguration of the project.
