Sports Minister Manikrao Kokate Congratulates the Winners
Mumbai, Aug 2025 : Maharashtra’s girls have delivered a proud performance at the Youth World Archery Championship held in Winnipeg, Canada. In this competition, Pritika Pradeep secured two silver medals, while Gatha Anandrao Khadke and Sharvari Somnath Shende bagged bronze medals, bringing glory to the state. Notably, Gatha and Sharvari registered a decisive victory over the American team with their precise shooting.
On this achievement, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Adv. Manikrao Kokate extended his congratulations to the players and their coaches.
In his message, Minister Kokate said that etching India’s name on the medal through precise aim is a moment of pride for the nation and Maharashtra. He added that this success is a shining example of relentless hard work, perseverance, patience, and determination.
The minister affirmed that the government is committed to supporting the bright future of athletes. He further stated that this historic achievement will inspire future generations. With this victory, Maharashtra’s young sportspersons have gained a new source of motivation, and the state government will extend all possible support to nurture their talent.
