Union Labour & Employment Minister and Union Forest Minister Inspect ESIC Medical College — Inaugurate Badminton Tournament by Playing, Review E-Gurukul Library

Jaipur, Aug 2025 : Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, along with Union Minister of Forests & Environment, Shri Bhupendra Yadav, inspected the ESIC Medical College located at MIA, Alwar district, to review the arrangements. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Forests & Environment, Shri Sanjay Sharma, was also present during the visit.

After inspecting the ESIC Medical College, Shri Mandaviya directed the Dean to link the institution with Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana so that a greater number of patients can benefit from medical services. He further instructed that MoUs should be signed with nearby state government medical colleges and hospitals with more than 100 beds so that patients from those institutions can also avail the super-specialty services of the ESIC Medical College.

Meeting and Directions:
After the inspection, Shri Mandaviya and Shri Yadav held a meeting with the medical college authorities and instructed them to ensure that all arrangements are robust. They emphasized that there is no shortage of resources for the ESIC Medical College, but proposals should be prepared for further expansion of healthcare facilities. They also directed the college team to visit nearby industrial areas on a weekly basis to inform workers about the super-specialty services available at the ESIC Medical College and connect them with ESIC.

Badminton Tournament Inaugurated on National Sports Day:
On the occasion of National Sports Day, the Union Ministers visited the indoor stadium at the ESIC Medical College campus, extended greetings to the players, and inaugurated the badminton tournament by playing a match themselves. On this occasion, they also planted a sapling under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, spreading a message of environmental conservation.

Review of E-Gurukul Library:
Union Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya and Union Minister Shri Bhupendra Yadav also visited the E-Gurukul Library at the Vivekananda Memorial. Shri Mandaviya interacted with students studying there and said that the E-libraries being developed by Shri Bhupendra Yadav in the Alwar parliamentary constituency will play a vital role in realizing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a Developed India. They also reviewed the E-Gurukul Mobile Library Van.

On this occasion, Ramgarh MLA Shri Sukhwant Singh, Alwar Zila Pramukh Shri Balbir Singh Chillar, District President Shri Ashok Gupta, Shri Mahasingh Chaudhary, Shri Bannaram Meena, Shri Sanjay Naruka, along with dignitaries and medical college officials, were present.
