Chhattisgarh Women’s Netball Team Wins Bronze Medal

Outstanding performance by Sarguja’s Khushboo Gupta

Raipur, Sept 2025 : The Chhattisgarh women’s team put up an excellent performance at the 4th Senior National Fast5 Netball Championship, held in Palwal, Haryana, from August 28 to 31, securing the bronze medal.

National coach Rajesh Pratap Singh informed that while Chhattisgarh lost to Haryana in the semifinal match, the team bounced back strongly in the playoff for third place, defeating Rajasthan to claim the bronze medal. The medals were presented by Haryana’s Sports Minister, Gaurav Gautam.

Khushboo Gupta, hailing from Sarguja, once again shone with her remarkable performance. She has previously won medals at several national competitions, bringing pride to both her district and the state.

Rajat Singh, Secretary of the Netball Sports Association, congratulated Khushboo Gupta, stating that this achievement will give netball greater recognition not only in Sarguja but across the entire state. Khushboo is currently working as a trainer at G. Mount Litter School, where the school management has been consistently encouraging and supporting her.
