Cultural Service Fortnight from 17 September to 2 October, Deputy CM Diya Kumari Directs Grand Events and Cleanliness Drive
Jaipur, Sept 2025: Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Tourism, Art & Culture Diya Kumari has instructed that the Cultural Service Fortnight, to be held from 17 September to 2 October, be organized in a grand and memorable manner. The event will be conducted by the Department of Tourism, Art & Culture in collaboration with the Department of Education and Higher Education across the state.
In a meeting at the Secretariat on Wednesday, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that the fortnight should aim to connect youth and students with Indian art, culture, and traditions.
She directed officials to organize various cultural programs, competitions, plays, folk dances, and music festivals during this period to ensure maximum participation.
Diya Kumari noted that the fortnight, concluding on Gandhi Jayanti, would convey a message of service, values, and culture in society. She also instructed a special cleanliness campaign at tourist sites and historical heritage locations.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Kuldeep Ranka, Principal Secretary Tourism, Art & Culture Rajesh Yadav, State Project Director and Commissioner of Samagra Shiksha Anupama Jorwal, among other officials.
