Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Visit Banswara on 25 September; Several Development Projects Including Nuclear Power Plant to be Inaugurated

Jaipur, Sept 2025: Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma visited Napla, Banswara, on Saturday to review preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit on 25 September. During the inspection, he reviewed the venue, helipad, parking, and other key locations, providing necessary instructions to the officials. Shri Sharma examined the arrangements for the dome and stage setup, including security measures, and ensured all arrangements are completed on time to avoid any inconvenience to visitors.

The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several development projects, including the Mahi Banswara Nuclear Power Plant, bringing significant benefits to the state and the nation. He highlighted that the nuclear power project will be a milestone in enhancing the state’s energy capacity.

The inspection was attended by Tribal Area Development Minister Shri Babulal Kharadi, MLAs Shri Kailash Meena and Shri Shankarlal Decha, Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant, Director General of Police Shri Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Additional Chief Secretaries of Water Resources, Chief Minister’s Office, and Public Works Department, along with other representatives and senior officials.
