Information & Public Relations Department Director Farewell in Lawngtlai

Lawngtlai, Sept 2025: Recently, I&PR Director Pu C. Lalnunkima was bid farewell at the District Information & Public Relations Office, Lawngtlai. The ceremony was attended by Pu Zonunchama Ralte, DIPRO, Lawngtlai, the office staff, and members of the Mizoram Journalist Association (MJA), Lawngtlai, who organized the farewell event.

Pu C. Lalnunkima expressed his appreciation for the DIPRO, Lawngtlai staff, and the MJA members for their support and collaboration, emphasizing that the farewell was an opportunity to strengthen bonds and promote cooperation. The Director also acknowledged the staff for their dedicated service in assisting government programs and initiatives, noting that MJA and I&PR staff played a crucial role in community outreach and public awareness activities. He encouraged continued engagement with the public and strengthening of district-level initiatives.

MJA, Lawngtlai, expressed their gratitude and respect for the Director, highlighting his contributions to the department and the community. They noted that under his leadership, coordination between government programs and citizen outreach was significantly enhanced, and local residents greatly benefited from these efforts.

Pu C. Lalnunkima officially handed over responsibilities at the DIPRO Lawngtlai Office. Previously, similar farewell events had been organized at Serchhip DIPRO by Pi Lalnunmawii, Deputy Director, I&PR, and at Hnahthial DIPRO by Pu Lalnunfela along with Hnahthial MJA members. Earlier, in Siaha, DIPRO Pi K. Ngosai, along with Siaha MJA members, had also hosted a farewell event. The Director will now proceed to the DIPRO Office in Lunglei to continue his official duties before retirement.
