PM Modi Inaugurates Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 in Greater Noida
Greater Noida, Sept 2025 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025, a major event expected to attract large crowds over the next few days.
Upon arrival, the Prime Minister toured the exhibition area, observing next-generation innovations across diverse sectors. The third edition of this mega event, organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is being held at the India Expo Centre and Mart from September 25 to 29. It showcases Uttar Pradesh’s industrial, agricultural, cultural, and technological achievements on a global stage.
The five-day trade show will host global industry leaders, with Russia participating as the partner country. Over 2,400 exhibitors and approximately 1,25,000 B2B visitors, including business leaders, industry experts, startups, exporters, and government officials, are expected to attend. The event aims to highlight industrial progress, promote trade collaborations, and attract domestic and international investments.
Aligned with national initiatives such as Make in India, Vocal for Local, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the trade show is expected to draw participants from all districts of Uttar Pradesh as well as leading industrial houses and entrepreneurs from across the country.
The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police have issued a traffic advisory, warning that the event is likely to cause significant traffic disruptions across Greater Noida, and urging commuters to plan their routes accordingly.
Later in the day, PM Modi will proceed to Rajasthan’s Banswara to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth Rs 1.08 lakh crore. The highlight of his visit will be the launch of the 2,800 MW Mahi Banswara Nuclear Power Project, which is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening India’s energy sector.
The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 not only emphasizes the state’s growth trajectory but also offers a platform for investors, innovators, and industry leaders to collaborate and explore new opportunities, reinforcing India’s position as a global trade and industrial hub.
