Create a Generation of Cultured, Addiction-Free Students to Build a Society Based on the Ideals of Saints – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar

Satara, Oct 2025 : “The world has changed today, and in this new era, it is essential to acquire education in fields like Artificial Intelligence. Every teacher and member of the school community must show determination to achieve this goal,” said Deputy Chief Minister and Chairman of the Aundh Education Board, Ajit Pawar.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the new building of Shrimant Harshitaraje English Medium High School, under the Aundh Education Board’s educational complex, held at Aundh. The ceremony was presided over by Deputy CM Ajit Pawar in his capacity as the Board’s chairman.

The event was attended by Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Makarand Patil, MP Nitin Patil, Phaltan MLA Sachin Patil, former MP Srinivas Patil, former MLA Prabhakar Gharge, Chairman of the Aundh Education Board and Head of the Aundh Estate Shrimant Gayatriraje Pantpratinidhi, Vice Chairman Shrimant Charushilaraje Pantpratinidhi, and Board member Harshitaraje Pantpratinidhi, among others.

Deputy CM Pawar highlighted the rich legacy and unique history of the Aundh Education Board, saying,

“At a time when the doors of education were closed to the poor and backward communities, Shrimant Bhagwanrao alias Balasaheb Pantpratinidhi had the vision to promote education and bring progress to society. This very school has produced great personalities such as Sane Guruji, G.D. Madgulkar, Shankarrao Kharat, and Kirloskar.”

He added that education must now evolve with changing times, emphasizing the importance of introducing modern, technology-driven learning such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the current generation.
