Priyanka Gandhi Urges Voters in Bihar to Choose Change, Targets NDA Over Jobs and Governance
Patna, Nov 2025 : Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday addressed a series of election rallies across Bihar, calling on voters to support the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) and expressing confidence that the alliance would form the next state government. Emphasizing the need for employment, industrial growth, and genuine development, she criticized both the central and state leadership for what she described as stalled progress and misplaced priorities.
Speaking at a rally in Saharsa, Priyanka Gandhi launched a sharp yet humorous attack on the NDA, suggesting that the Prime Minister should establish a “Ministry of Insults.” She said such a ministry could respond whenever someone questions the government, allowing the Prime Minister to focus on development. “This way, his time won’t be wasted,” she remarked. She added that this hypothetical ministry could also maintain a record of remarks made about her family, joking that it could “fill an entire library.”
Addressing young voters, Priyanka Gandhi stressed that questions about employment and opportunities should be seen as constructive criticism, not as hostility. She accused the NDA government in Bihar of being a “single-engine government,” alleging that crucial decisions for the state were being dictated from Delhi. According to her, the state administration lacked both autonomy and accountability.
At her second rally in Lakhisarai, she sharpened her critique of the ruling BJP-JDU coalition, arguing that instead of focusing on people’s needs, the government was engaging in political distractions. “Students want better education, the youth want jobs, farmers want support—but rather than addressing these demands, the discussion is being diverted elsewhere,” she said.
Priyanka Gandhi also held a roadshow in Rosera, Samastipur, drawing enthusiastic crowds in support of Congress and Mahagathbandhan candidates. She said widespread public dissatisfaction with the current government was evident and that voters were ready to choose a new direction. “People are fed up with the failures of the BJP-JDU government and are hoping for a new beginning. The Grand Alliance carries the people’s aspirations. The results on November 14 will reflect this desire for change,” she asserted.
As campaigning intensifies in the poll-bound state, Priyanka Gandhi is scheduled to address several more public meetings in the coming days, aiming to consolidate support for the Mahagathbandhan ahead of the crucial assembly election.
