Collector Shri Vijay Dayaram K. said that the applications related to ration card received in the public problem resolution camp organized in urban bodies should be resolved immediately. Along with this, initiative should be taken to get the amount of pension schemes operated under social assistance program paid through Bank Sakhi. Collector Shri Vijay held a time-bound meeting in the Prerna Sabhakaksha of the district office on Tuesday evening. In the meeting, the collector reviewed the status of the parent-teacher mega meeting. He said that the district level officers attending the upcoming parent-teacher meeting will also inspect the monitoring of mid-day meal, attendance of students, attendance of teachers, online application for leave, status of school repair, status of school dropout children. He also directed to give the responsibility of school inspection to other district level officers.
In the time-bound meeting, the collector directed the concerned department to take necessary action and resolve the time-bound cases, public complaints, and Jan Chaupal matters. In the meeting, the works of noise pollution control, rehabilitation of the families of Naxal-affected people and surrendered Naxalites, Badal Academy and Gyan Gudi Centre were reviewed. While reviewing the progress of the departmental works and schemes, he gave instructions to increase the availability of revolving fund to as many women self-help groups as possible through bank linkage under the National Rural Livelihood Mission. He reviewed the transactions by Bank Sakhi and the benefits of the insurance scheme to the members of self-help groups. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, incomplete works approved under Special Central Assistance on the basis of financial year, works approved under PM Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana, progress of Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, getting school children examined under Chirayu Yojana, progress of buildings under construction of Health Department, development of nutrition garden-kitchen garden in schools, block-wise entry of students and volunteer teachers in Ullas portal were reviewed.
The collector directed to set a target of creating MNREGA man days in 433 panchayats and give progress of the works. He reviewed the progress of Amritsar Sarovar and incomplete development work at the panchayat level on the basis of financial year and gave instructions to give progress to the works. While reviewing the progress of ration cards being renewed and cancellation by the Food Department in the meeting, the collector directed to take special action on the applications for cancellation in Bastar and Lohandiguda. He gave instructions to inspect the fair price shops operated through offline process in the development block and urban bodies. Apart from this, he asked to pay special attention to Bastar, Bakawand for the collection of PDS gunny bags. Along with this, the status of depositing rice from the related working agencies of the department, the status of food grain storage in PDS shops was reviewed. On this occasion, CEO District Panchayat Shri Prakash Surve, Divisional Forest Officer Shri Uttam Gupta, Additional Collector Shri CP Baghel and other district level officers were present.
