Serchhip DC Paul L. Khuma Inaugurates Serchhip ZDU Golden Jubilee Celebration

Serchhip, Nov 2025: The Serchhip Sub-Headquarters Zoram Drivers’ Union (ZDU) celebrated its Golden Jubilee this morning at the ZDU Office, Tuikhuah Veng. Serchhip Deputy Commissioner Pu Paul L. Khuma graced the event as the special guest and formally inaugurated the Jubilee celebration.

Addressing the gathering, DC Paul L. Khuma extended greetings to the ZDU members and expressed his appreciation for their unity, dedication, and consistent hard work. He said that no matter the circumstance, leaders carry great responsibility, and it is essential for all to have proper awareness of government rules and regulations. He emphasised that progress can only be achieved when actions align with the law.

The Golden Jubilee inaugural programme was presided over by the Union President, Pu H. Malsawma. The session also included a report presentation and speeches delivered by Assistant Secretary Pu Laltlanthanga.
