Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade Launches Online Recruitment System for Anganwadi Workers and Helpers.

Raipur, December 2025 : A significant initiative of the Chhattisgarh government to make the Anganwadi system more transparent, reliable, and modern has taken shape. On Tuesday, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade formally launched the online recruitment software for Anganwadi Workers and Helpers, along with a new departmental website and the e-Office user manual, at a state-level event held in the conference hall of Mahanadi Bhavan at the Secretariat.

With the introduction of the new departmental website, the entire recruitment process has now become fully digital.

On the occasion, Minister Mrs. Rajwade said that the new online recruitment system will enable the entire process—from application to final selection—to be completed on a single digital platform. This will ensure equal opportunities for all eligible candidates and make the recruitment process simpler, clearer, and more impartial. It will also eliminate unnecessary visits to offices and reduce confusion among applicants.

She stated that the digital system will ensure transparency while saving time and resources. This arrangement will strengthen human resource management associated with Anganwadi services and will prove helpful in the effective implementation of schemes of the Women and Child Development Department.

Expressing confidence, Minister Mrs. Rajwade said that the new departmental website and online recruitment system would enhance public trust in the government’s functioning and provide a modern, accountable, and people-centric identity to the Anganwadi system in Chhattisgarh. She described the initiative as an important achievement in strengthening e-governance in the state.

During the programme, Secretary of the Women and Child Development Department Mrs. Shammi Abidi, Director Mrs. Renuka Shrivastava, along with departmental officers and staff, were present.
