Operation Sindoor Showcased on Tri-Services Tableau at Republic Day Parade
New Delhi, Jan 2026 : Operation Sindoor, India’s major military offensive against Pakistan-backed terrorism, was prominently featured on the Tri-Services tableau of the Indian Defence Forces during the 77th Republic Day Parade on Kartavya Path on Sunday. The tableau powerfully highlighted the operational synergy and combined combat strength of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, reflecting India’s firm resolve to respond decisively to threats against national security.
Titled “Victory Through Jointness,” the tableau symbolised seamless integration, unified command, and coordinated execution among the three services. It underscored how modern warfare demands synchronised planning and joint operations, a doctrine that has become central to India’s evolving defence strategy. The display illustrated India’s growing emphasis on interoperability and jointness to ensure swift and effective responses during conflict.
The tableau depicted key aspects of Operation Sindoor, a decisive joint military campaign. It showcased the Indian Air Force’s precision air strikes targeting terror infrastructure, the Indian Navy’s rapid manoeuvres that ensured maritime dominance and strategic deterrence, and the Indian Army’s coordinated ground offensives that neutralised hostile elements. Together, these visuals conveyed the overwhelming force and preparedness of India’s armed forces when acting in unison.
Operation Sindoor also highlighted the transformation of the Indian Defence Forces into a future-ready, technology-driven, and mission-oriented force. Advanced systems, real-time coordination, and rapid decision-making were central to the operation, reflecting India’s enhanced military capabilities and strategic clarity.
Launched in the early hours of May 7, Operation Sindoor involved targeted strikes on terror camps located deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The operation was initiated in response to the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam last year, in which over two dozen tourists lost their lives.
The four-day conflict that followed saw Pakistan attempt missile strikes on Indian cities, all of which were effectively neutralised by India’s robust air defence systems. Hostilities were paused on May 10 after Pakistani military commanders sought a ceasefire, citing heavy losses and mounting pressure.
The Tri-Services tableau served as a powerful reminder of India’s military resolve, operational readiness, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty.
