Southern Leaders Mourn Ajit Pawar’s Death, Call It an Irreparable Loss to Public Life

Hyderabad, Jan 2026 : Political leaders from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday expressed profound shock and grief over the tragic death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in a plane crash. The sudden loss of the senior leader has triggered an outpouring of condolences from across party lines, with leaders remembering him as a committed public servant and a towering figure in Maharashtra politics.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who is currently on an official visit to the United States, conveyed deep shock and sorrow at the tragic demise of Ajit Pawar. In a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, Revanth Reddy described Pawar’s sudden passing as an irreparable loss to public life.
