Bhoomi Pujan by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar for Various Development Works in Indapur Taluka
Pune : The Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for various development projects in Indapur Taluka was conducted by Deputy Chief Minister and District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar.
The event was attended by MP Sunil Tatkare, MLA Dattatray Bharne, Sanjay Shinde, Deputy Divisional Officer Vaibhav Navadkar, Deputy Divisional Police Officer Dr. Sudarshan Rathod, Tehsildar Jeevan Bansode, Executive Engineer Amol Pawar, Group Development Officer Sachin Khude, Municipal Council Chief Officer Ramesh Dhage, and other dignitaries.
As part of the Nagarotthan Mahabhiyan led by Mr. Pawar, several infrastructure projects within the Indapur Nagar Parishad limits were inaugurated. These include the construction of roads from the Bus Depot to State Highway No. 71, from Baramati Road to the Sports Complex, and from Baramati Road to Tarangwadi. Additionally, works such as the road from Santosh Bamane’s house to the Sports Complex Bypass, cement concrete roads, RCC guttering, and the road from Open Chowk to Mangesh Patil Petrol Pump (Canal Road) with 4-layer cement concrete, were initiated. Sewerage systems covering 22.78 km in the Gavthan area and 29.24 km in the demarcation area were also part of the groundbreaking ceremony.
The Bhoomi Pujan also marked the beginning of the conservation work for the fort of Veershree Malojiraje Bhosale and the beautification of the Hazrat Chand Shahavali Baba Dargah.
Restoration Work for Chhatrapati Malojiraje Bhosle Fort
The restoration of the Chhatrapati Malojiraje Bhosle fort will involve demolishing the existing old structure, site cleaning, soil excavation for ploughing, masonry work on the bastion wall, earth filling on the inner side of the wall, tandoor stone flooring, and polishing of the existing wooden work. Additionally, historical scenery from Ramves to the Gadhi will be created as part of the Chhatrapati Malojiraje Bhosle Gadhi Redevelopment project.
Beautification of Hazrat Chand Shahavali Baba Dargah
This project includes several enhancements such as roof leak prevention, exterior plastering of the dargah, installation of GI sheets on the roof, soling of the dargah’s foundation, construction of ramps, concrete beds, stone-paved stairs, tandoor stone flooring inside the dargah, installation of iron grates, doors, windows, and window grills, exterior painting, tiling, and RCC framework for the women’s dargah. The wooden work will also be polished with melamine.
Bhoomi Pujan of the Shirsodi to Kugaon Bridge
A 1,380-meter long, high-level bridge connecting Shirsodi to Kugaon via Karmala will be constructed. This bridge, which will be built in the Ujani Dam area, has received administrative approval for a budget of Rs 395.97 crore. The bridge is expected to significantly benefit citizens traveling between Shirsodi and Kugaon by saving time and fuel.
