Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev Meets CM Yogi Adityanath
Gorakhpur : On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev, founder of Patanjali Yogpeeth and a globally renowned figure, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath at the Gorakhnath Temple on Monday night. Upon his arrival at the temple, Swami Ramdev appeared deeply moved.
Upon reaching the Gorakhnath Temple on Monday night, Swami Ramdev first offered his respects at the court of Guru Gorakhnath. Amidst Vedic chants, he performed the ritual worship of Lord Gorakhnath, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Bowing down, he expressed his deep reverence. Afterward, he visited the memorial of the late Mahant Avaidyanath Ji Maharaj, where he bowed before the statue of the revered saint and offered his humble tributes.
Following the worship, Swami Ramdev held a courtesy meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was present at the temple to celebrate Shri Krishna Janmashtami. After paying his respects to Gorakshpeethadhishwar, Swami Ramdev honored him with a garland of roses. CM Yogi also welcomed Swami Ramdev with a bouquet. After partaking in the traditional temple prasad, Swami Ramdev discussed topics related to yoga, social issues, and national awakening with the Chief Minister. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented Swami Ramdev with copies of the three-volume book ‘Rashtriyata Ke Ananya Sadhak Mahant Avaidyanath,’ compiled in memory of his guru.
