Officials and Minister Girish Mahajan Inspect Proposed ‘Medical Hub’ at Chincholi
Jalgaon : The construction of the proposed Government Medical College and Hospital in Chincholi, Taluka, is advancing rapidly. On the morning of August 30, officials, along with Rural Development, Panchayat Raj, and Tourism Minister Girish Mahajan, conducted an inspection of the project site. During the visit, Minister Mahajan directed the officials from various departments to expedite the completion of the project.
The new buildings for the Government Medical College and Hospital, including facilities such as the college, hospital, hostel, guest house, professors’ residences, and the director’s office, are under construction. Minister Mahajan, along with Collector Ayush Prasad, Principal Dr. Girish Thakur, Medical Superintendent Dr. Vijay Gaikwad, and Administrative Officer Dr. Jitendra Surwade, reviewed the progress. Also present were HSCC Company Chief Manager Sandeep Jain, Divisional Head Bhimrao Kamble, Nyati Construction Divisional Chief Engineer Sandeep Gadekar, and Executive Engineer Sharad Dawange.
Sandeep Gadekar and Sandeep Jain provided an update on the project’s construction status, design, layout, and quality of work. The officials toured the site, examined construction materials and tools, and reviewed detailed plans and maps of the project. Minister Mahajan expressed satisfaction with the progress and instructed that Rs. 20 crores be allocated immediately for essential utilities such as water, roads, electricity, and compound walls.
In the project office, the team presented a PowerPoint briefing and a video mockup demonstrating the completed project and how the Government Medical College, Hospital, and accommodations will look. Project officials also mentioned that a separate colony has been established for workers at the site, ensuring their safety.
The inspection was attended by various government department officials, including Sahebrao Kudmethe from the Construction Department.
