On the occasion of the IIFA Awards’ Silver Jubilee, Deputy Chief Minister Kumari noted that a historic ceremony will be held in Jaipur to celebrate 25 glorious years of Indian cinema. The IIFA Awards and associated activities will span three days and encompass various segments.
She highlighted that this event will significantly boost Rajasthan’s tourism sector, attracting increased investment and creating employment opportunities. The entire tourism ecosystem is expected to benefit from the event.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary Mr. Ravi Jain stated that the three-day “IIFA25 Celebrations” scheduled in Jaipur will feature several performances by prominent figures and achievers in Indian cinema. The event will also present awards to some of the industry’s most successful personalities, while offering global branding and destination marketing opportunities for the state. IIFA Vice President Mr. Suresh Iyer expressed his excitement, stating that this unique event will be organized in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in March 2025, celebrating the legacy of Indian cinema. He explained that IIFA, established in 2000, has since been held in 14 countries and 18 cities across the globe.
Mr. Iyer added that the upcoming IIFA ceremony in Jaipur will be organized on a grand scale, with a global reach that will generate opportunities for Rajasthan in tourism, media, and entertainment.
