Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Visit Maharashtra Tomorrow; Launch of Projects Worth Rs. 56,100 Crore

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Maharashtra on October 5, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various significant projects in Washim and Thane. His visit will begin at 11:15 AM with a visit to the Jagdamba Mata Temple in Washim, followed by paying homage at the tombs of Sant Sewalal Maharaj and Sant Ramrao Maharaj.

Prime Minister’s Program in Washim

In Washim, the Prime Minister will launch several initiatives in the agriculture and animal husbandry sectors, valued at Rs. 23,300 crore. As part of this, the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will be disbursed, providing Rs. 20,000 crore to approximately 9.4 crore farmers. Additionally, over 7,500 projects under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, worth around Rs. 1,920 crore, will be inaugurated. The Prime Minister will also announce the nationalization of 9,200 farmer producer organizations and will inaugurate the “Banjara Heritage Museum,” celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Banjara community.

Urban Mobility Projects Worth Rs. 32,800 Crore to Be Launched in Thane

In Thane, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several urban development projects totaling around Rs. 32,800 crore. This includes the inauguration of the Aarey JVLR to BKC phase of Mumbai Metro Line 3 Phase 1, a major initiative aimed at improving the urban transport system in Mumbai. Additionally, the foundation stones for the Thane Integral Ring Metro Rail Project and the Elevated East Freeway Extension Project will be laid. The Prime Minister will also lead the foundation-laying ceremony for the new building of the Thane Municipal Corporation.

Foundation Laying for the NAINA Project to Develop Navi Mumbai Airport Catchment Area

In Thane, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation for the Navi Mumbai Airport Impact Notified Area (NAINA) project, with Phase 1 slated for development. This project is expected to accelerate infrastructure growth in the region.

During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate several key projects aimed at fostering agricultural, urban, and industrial development in Maharashtra, thus driving the state’s overall progress.
