Vaishali Nagar in Ajmer to Get Community Hall After 17 Years; Assembly Speaker Resolves Technical Issues, Construction Begins

Jaipur : The residents of Vaishali Nagar in Ajmer district will finally have a community hall after 17 years. Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani resolved the technical issues that were delaying the construction, and the work has now commenced. This will provide the local people with a space for small events and gatherings.

On Thursday, Shri Vasudev Devnani inaugurated the construction of the public hall in Vaishali Nagar, Ajmer. Notably, the original community hall near Pandit Deendayal Park collapsed 17 years ago. Since then, efforts to rebuild it faced technical obstacles, preventing the start of construction. During the ceremony, Mr. Devnani stated that a promise was made to the residents during the election to provide them with a community hall soon. The municipal corporation was directed to resolve the technical problems, and action has now been taken to begin the work.

Mr. Devnani added that efforts are underway to beautify, organize, and develop Ajmer. The process began with the state budget, which allocated ₹1,500 crores for various projects in Ajmer, most of which will be spent in the city.

He also emphasized the commitment to advancing Ajmer in all aspects. Known as an educational hub, the city will soon have an Ayurveda University, setting new benchmarks in the medical field. To promote sports, a sports college and athletics academy will be established. Additionally, a ₹270-crore water supply project will lay pipelines and build three service reservoirs from Nasirabad to Nausar Kotda, ushering in a water revolution. The IT Park will be a milestone in the field of employment.

He mentioned that ₹56 crores will be spent on road and drainage development in North Ajmer, with ₹30 crores allocated for new drains over the next year, ensuring that no drains remain unpaved. Additionally, ₹26 crores will be used for road construction. All roads in Ajmer will be repaired by Diwali, and the road under the elevated corridor will also be fixed soon. Encroachments have been cleared from Kachahri Road, and drain construction will be completed shortly.

To boost tourism in Ajmer, plans are in place for a ropeway to Chamunda Mata Temple and a leopard safari in Ajaysar, marking significant milestones.
