Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde vows to ‘finish Lawrence Bishnoi’ after meeting actor Salman Khan

Mumbai : Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, held a crucial meeting with Bollywood luminary Salman Khan on Tuesday in light of recent security concerns. Following an alarming incident where two individuals opened fire outside Khan’s Bandra residence, Shinde reassured the actor of the government’s unwavering commitment to his safety.

Taking a decisive stand against gang violence, CM Shinde condemned such acts and specifically targeted the Bishnoi gang, vowing to eradicate their presence in Mumbai. He affirmed that Mumbai would not tolerate any form of gang warfare, asserting the city’s rejection of underworld elements.

CM Shinde, in no uncertain terms, pledged to bolster security measures through the Mumbai Police to shield Khan and his family from any potential threats. “I have personally assured Salman Khan of the government’s support and our responsibility to ensure his safety. We will not tolerate such incidents in Mumbai,” CM Shinde affirmed, highlighting the government’s dedication to upholding peace and security in the city.
