Tamil Nadu CM Inaugurates 17 Sub-Registrar Offices Built at ₹30.27 Crores
Chennai : Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru M.K. Stalin inaugurated 17 newly constructed sub-registrar offices built at a total cost of ₹30.27 crore under the Registration Department. These offices are located across the districts of Madurai, Trichy, Thiruvallur, Nagapattinam, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Tirunelveli, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvannamalai.
During the inauguration, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of the Registration Department’s role in enabling citizens to register property rights, marriages, and partnership deeds efficiently and securely. He also highlighted that these new offices aim to streamline services and improve infrastructure to better serve the public.
Since assuming office, Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru M.K. Stalin has inaugurated 30 sub-registrar offices constructed at a total cost of ₹39.29 crore under the Registration Department.
Details of the New Offices:
The newly inaugurated sub-registrar offices were built in accordance with the announcements made in 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 budgets using funding from the Registration Department’s grants. They are located in the following districts:
- Madurai District: Thirumangalam
- Trichy District: Musiri, Lalgudi, and Uppiliyapuram
- Nagapattinam District: Kottur, Nagore
- Cuddalore District: Mangalam, Puduchathiram, Panruti, Santhanikuppam, and Killai
- Villupuram District: Gingee
- Tirunelveli District: Ambasamudram
- Chengalpattu District: Thirukazhukundram
- Kanchipuram District: Uthiramerur
- Thiruvallur District: Thiruthani
The construction of these facilities, carried out at a cost of ₹30.27 crore, aims to enhance the infrastructure and operational efficiency of the Registration Department.
