Dudhakhedi Mata Temple Complex to Be Developed as a Grand Abode of the Goddess : CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that the Dudhakhedi Mata Temple complex, a revered centre of faith in the region, will be developed as a magnificent spiritual site named Devi Lok. All works related to its development and beautification will be carried out with full dedication. During his visit to the temple, the Chief Minister performed worship and offered prayers.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to “Employment for Every Hand and Water for Every Field”. He stated that extensive industrialisation and irrigation schemes are being implemented across the state to achieve this goal.
Addressing a large public gathering in Dudhakhedi village of Mandsaur district, Dr. Yadav inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth over Rs. 400 crore.
Dr. Yadav said that the Garoth-Bhanpura region is undergoing historic development and is now being connected to the rest of the country through the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and other new routes. The construction of the Ujjain-Garoth road has further strengthened ancient ties between Ujjain and this region. Tourism is also being promoted, and soon, cheetahs will be visible running in the area.
The Chief Minister highlighted the spiritual and historical importance of the Garoth-Bhanpura region, mentioning the religious seat established by Shankaracharya Ji in Bhanpura and referring to the contributions of Shankaracharya Shri Satyamitranand Ji Maharaj. He also shared that sites associated with Lord Shri Krishna’s divine plays (leelas) are being developed as pilgrimage destinations, with Gita Bhavans being constructed across the state, including one in Garoth-Bhanpura. Under the Kamdhenu Scheme, milk production is being promoted.
Dr. Yadav emphasised that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, development is being carried out for every sector and every section of society. He assured the public that he would continue to visit the region and bring more developmental projects.
Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat stated that there has been unprecedented growth in irrigation capacity under Dr. Yadav’s leadership. Irrigation is now available for 50 lakh hectares of land in the state, with a target of 65 lakh hectares in two years and 100 lakh hectares in five years. The government is also working to fulfil the vision of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s “River Linking” dream. The Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal River Linking Project is a major step in this direction, set to irrigate over 6 lakh hectares of land in the Malwa region.
He also mentioned other key irrigation projects underway, including the Shamgarh-Suwasra Micro-Irrigation Expansion Project, Takaji Medium Irrigation Project, and Malhargarh Irrigation Project in the Mandsaur district.
At the event in Dudhakhedi, CM Dr. Yadav inaugurated Rs. 223.26 crore Shamgarh-Suwasra Micro-Irrigation Project Expansion, Rs. 60.03 crore Takaji Medium Irrigation Project, Rs. 2.48 crore bridge on Kandhari River on the Shamgarh-Boliya Road, and Rs. 7.71 crore Sub-Divisional and Tehsil Office buildings in Garoth. He also laid the foundation stone for the Rs. 102.64 crore two-lane construction of Garoth-Boliya Road and the Rs. 4.73 crore Dadawadi-Hingoria Road from the Garoth-Shamgarh Route.
During the program, CM Yadav greeted the public with a shower of flower petals and received a grand welcome from local representatives and citizens. The Dudhakhedi Mata Temple Management Committee honoured him with a traditional shawl and coconut (shrifal), while Minister Silawat presented him with a photograph of the Gandhi Sagar Dam.
