The Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of West Central and North Bay of Bengal, and some more parts of Mizoram, some parts of Manipur and Nagaland today, the 25th May 2025. Conditions are favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of West Central & North Bay of Bengal and some more parts of Northeastern states during next 3 days. Also, in presence of favourable wind pattern and moisture incursion from Bay of Bengal, thunderstorm with gusty winds and lightning activity likely to continue during next 4 to 5 days.
A low-pressure area is likely to form over West-Central and adjoining North Bay of Bengal around 27th. May. Under its influence heavy to very heavy rainfall likely to commence from 28th. May over some
districts of South Bengal.
