Chief Minister Meets Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to Discuss Road Infrastructure in Mizoram

Aizawl : Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma met with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Pu Nitin Gadkari, at his official residence to discuss the current state and future development of road infrastructure in Mizoram.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister requested that roads in Mizoram be constructed using rigid pavement technology to enhance durability and quality. In response, the Union Minister assured that technical experts would soon be sent to Mizoram to conduct detailed assessments and provide necessary guidance.

Key road projects discussed included the improvement and continuation of works on important national highways such as NH-52 from Vairengte to Sairang, NH-306A from Vairengte to New Vervek, and NH-502 from Lawngtlai to Siaha.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Member of Parliament Pu Richard Vanlalhmangaiha, Chief Secretary Pu Khilli Ram Meena, and other senior government officials.
