Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight Gives Fresh Momentum to Rural Progress
Uplifting the Marginalized: Grounding the Vision of Antyodaya through Priority Delivery of Benefits

Jaipur : Aligned with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma is working with deep commitment towards the welfare and upliftment of women, youth, workers, and farmers. As part of this vision, the Chief Minister has launched the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight (June 24 – July 9), aiming to reach the last person in line in villages and hamlets by addressing pending issues and ensuring access to welfare schemes.

The campaign is proving to be a milestone in delivering development to the grassroots, supporting the realization of the state’s goal of a ‘Leading Rajasthan’. The Chief Minister inaugurated the fortnight at Bichoon village in Dudu tehsil of Jaipur district. Named after Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya—a great thinker who dedicated his life to the upliftment of the marginalized—the campaign promotes self-reliance in every village and among every individual.

Key Highlights and Achievements (As of June 29):

  • 8,531 partition settlements and 9,096 road access cases resolved, alongside 18,015 land boundary demarcations and 43,120 property mutations—providing large-scale relief to farmers and rural residents.
  • 53,202 applications received under various government schemes by the Rural Development Department.
  • 52,183 land ownership titles distributed by the Panchayati Raj Department.

Ensuring Access to Basic Utilities:

  • 13,684 hanging electric wires repaired, 10,195 electricity poles fixed for power supply improvement.
  • 15,722 pending tap water connections issued by the Public Health Engineering Department.
  • Cleaning of 5,356 water tanks and repair of 11,668 leakages ensured smooth water supply.

Environmental & Food Security Measures:

  • Under the “Green Rajasthan” campaign, 68.67 lakh saplings distributed and 38.45 lakh planted.
  • 54,711 applications processed under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
  • 4.70 lakh families linked with Aadhaar; 5.08 lakh individuals completed e-KYC under food security schemes.

Healthcare and Social Welfare Initiatives:

  • 2,998 Unique Disability ID (UDID) cards issued.
  • 28,115 individuals enrolled under PM Vaya Vandana Yojana for social security.
  • 7.11 lakh livestock vaccinated against diseases such as Lumpy Skin, Foot-and-Mouth, and Anthrax.
  • 1.95 lakh livestock farmers benefitted during the campaign.
  • 3,631 scooters distributed by the Higher Education Department.
  • 67,724 pensioners verified to ensure timely social security disbursement.

Under Chief Minister Sharma’s guidance, the campaign will continue until 9 July, striving to ensure development reaches every doorstep. The camps organized during this fortnight are becoming symbols of empowerment for the last person in the line—resolving long-pending issues, delivering benefits of government schemes, and initiating lasting change in the lives of the poor and underprivileged. The campaign firmly upholds the principle that no one should be left behind in the journey of development.
