MP to Set New Benchmark with Taiwan’s Technology: CM Dr. Yadav
Sept 2025 : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the combination of Taiwan’s manufacturing technology and Madhya Pradesh’s vast industrial and consumer capacity will set new standards in development, innovation, and environmental protection. Sectors such as semiconductors, PCBs, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy are emerging as new hubs of collaboration between Madhya Pradesh and Taiwan. By leveraging Taiwan’s technology and Madhya Pradesh’s resources, globally competitive and resilient industries can be developed. The coming period presents endless opportunities for both sides. The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to providing full facilities, policy support, and plug-and-play infrastructure to attract and facilitate Taiwanese investment.
CM Dr. Yadav made these remarks during discussions with representatives of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Economic & Cultural Center at the state secretariat. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary for Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh, TAITRA Director General Shri Chun Yu Chang, Second Secretary Shri Ji Sheng Wang, Director of Taiwan Economicand Cultural Center Shri Vic Lin and Trade Promotion Specialist Sushree Kirtan Nambiar.
Industrial Partnership to Extend to Education and Cultural Exchanges
CM Dr. Yadav said that in line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision, Madhya Pradesh is moving toward a new partnership with Taiwan as a reliable collaborator. Taiwan is a global leader in technology and innovation, while Madhya Pradesh offers abundant resources, skilled human capital, and limitless opportunities across sectors. Currently, Madhya Pradesh primarily exports electronic machinery, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food products to Taiwan, while Taiwan exports electronic components, machinery, and semiconductors to Madhya Pradesh.
The Taiwan delegation actively participated in the Global Investors Summit and Regional Industry Conclave. Devi Ahilya University, Indore, has signed an MOU with Taiwanese universities to promote education, research, cultural exchange, and industrial collaboration. With its strategic location, resources, and investor-friendly policies, Madhya Pradesh is an ideal destination for Taiwanese investors. Both Taiwan and Madhya Pradesh are preparing a clear roadmap to boost investment and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
